The weather is getting nice and what better way to enjoy a saturday than at the beach? We are planning a BBQ/Picnic at the Sanibel Causeway on Saturday, November 8th. We are providing hamburgers and buns, and ask that you bring a dish to share.
We are setting up around 11:00 am, about 1.7 miles from the toll booth on the left (next to the bathrooms). The Sanibel toll booth is $6.00 so carpooling would be a great idea! Or come by boat and bypass the toll booth.
This is a great place to bring all your water and beach toys! The causeway has picnic tables but you may want to bring lawn chairs.

Where are all the women?
ILIDS is a Gay & lesbian bowling league that meets every Sunday at Galaxy bowling alley on Fowler in Ft. Myers at 12:30pm. During the summer it is open to anyone to just come out and bowl for fun. You don’t have to join the league to bowl and you don’t have to come every week. So this is the perfect time to meet the regular bowlers and see if you’d like to bowl during the regular season. It only costs $10.00 + shoe rental for 3 games and we have a great time. This weekend, July 4,5 &6th is the annual COPIT (City of Palms International Tournement) bowling tournement with 80+ men and women from across the US and Canada competing so feel free to cme out and watch. Singles competition, Saturday morning, doubles Saturday afternoon and teams Sunday morning. The fun bowling will pick back up again on Sunday the 13th.
