Ladies! I’m proud to announce that we are having our “First Annual” womenfest in Ft. Myers…Our hostess for the event will be Heather, the General Manager at the Rock Lake Resort. The resort will be reserved for us the weekend of August 7th…You can stay just Friday, or Friday and Saturday nights. Check-in time will begin at noon on either day…the special rate for us will be as follows: Friday, Waterfront cottage $50.00 Courtside $40.00 + tax. You must stay at the resort to participate in the festivities…Friday evening pizza beer bash poolside starting at 6pm. In the spirit of the 40th anniversary of Stonewall, the Ministry of St. John the Apostle is hosting the first annual Gay & Lesbian Film Festival celebrating our heritage and history. They are located at 3049 McGregor Blvd in Ft. Myers. 344-0012. June 19 will begin at 7pm and will feature “The Times of Harvey Milk” and “Out of the Past: The Struggle for Gay and Lesbian Rights in America”. 80 Spectacular Years of Disney!!!The chorus will be holding it’s 16th annual Pride Concerts on Saturday June 13th at 7:30pm and Sunday, June 14th, at 4:00pm at the Cultural Park Theater in Cape Coral. Tickets (suggested donation)are $15.00 for adults and $10.00 for students with current ID. The event will include a 50/50 raffle, wine and beer sales and one last chance to join our raffle for TWO Disney 7 Day Park Hopper Passes.
